A program like this is what the world, and more importantly, urban youth needs right now. Too often we hear that nobody cares. Too often we hear that life is not fair. Life tends to push us in the mud, and punish us for getting dirty. But, with someone lending a hand when we are down, or a leg up when we're just short of reach, that one noble gesture can plant a seed of jubilation, esteem, and confidence. For some, it simply means a second chance. So give. Contribute. Donate!

Kudos too 'The Urban Inspire' for initiating these terribly important resources for today's youth! Young people need mentors who inspire them and help them make their dreams become reality.

In today's economic climate of bankrupt businesses, lost jobs producing rampant unemployment, everyone needs to remain focused and be assured that this time of uncertainty doesn't need to become a reality especially for the young.

I believe, as President Obama, change in the current system is necessary because it is producing results we do not want. This is the time of opportunity for young people to prepare themselves for the future and the realization that their goals should not only be too fulfill heartfelt desires, but also be prepared to take the realm of this country as productive citizens, while carrying it through for future generations.
